And you want to break conventional thinking of repeating patterns every 140 cm? Industrial digital printing machines and inks are now available, as well as the optimal paper for the different laminates: TECHNOCELL® IJ-DEKOR®.

TECHNOCELL® IJ-DEKOR® made by Felix Schoeller is the ideal paper solution for presenting highresolution print quality for a broad range of inkjet printing systems. The base papers for our IJ-DEKOR® are specially manufactured and refined with an ink-receiving layer, or treated in the paper machine for the inkjet process. In the printing process, your high-quality ink will be optimally used in conjunction with our IJ-DEKOR® grades: the ideal technical and economic choice. When printed, IJ-DEKOR® paper retains the properties of conventional decor papers, such as resin absorbing, opacity, light fastness and temperature stability. The IJ-PRIP® papers can be processed like other pre-impregnated paper foils.

    Wedges

    Inkjet decor paper with a special surface for industrial applications ind Single-Pass- and Multi-Pass inkjet printing machines.

    • Uncoated paper, paper fibre treatment
    • Opacity due to titanium dioxide
    • Very similar to analogue decor paper
    • Decor colours

     

    Printing 

    • For water-based pigmented inks
    • Moderate dot gain
    • Good resolution
    • Image evaluation after lamination

     

    Processing 

    • Suitable for impregnation
    • Ink should be dried very well before further processing 
    • Good penetration
    • Normal resin properties

     

    Applications

    • Industrial inkjet decor print products
    • Small batch sizes for standard decors

    Kitchen

  • IJ-Dekor® PURE
    Meeting room

    Pure fibre web for inkjet printing, suitable as transparent print layer. Can be laminated with opaque coloured underlays or directly onto other substrates, e.g. plywood.

    • Uncoated paper, paper fibre treatment
    • No opacity, no filler
    • Similar to overlay paper
    • No colour

     

    Print

    • For water-based pigmented inks
    • Moderate dot gain
    • Good resolution
    • Image quality strongly influenced by ink quality

     

    Processing

    • Gluing like other pre-impregnates
